With almost 50,000 residents, Gloucester-Southgate Ward is an incredibly diverse area. From Greenboro to Blossom Park, Emerald Woods to Hunt Club Park and more, as your Councillor I represent a large geographical area. Though Gloucester-Southgate spans a large area, there are a number of priorities that hold true across Ward 10.
Here are some of our priorities:
- Spending the public’s tax dollars wisely
- Reducing crime and harassment in our communities to ensure public safety
- Keeping our streets safe through traffic calming measures
- Maintaining our key community infrastructure through park and facility re-development
- Preserving the health of our urban forest and environment
- Working with our older adult population to ensure dignity and safety for seniors
- Continuing to improve transit, transportation and cycling options for residents
